Coronado (National League) landed 31-year old former international point guard Monica Malavassi (158-89). It is actually her comeback to Coronado as she has played here before. Malavassi also represented Costa Rica at the Central American Games in Managua (Nicaragua) three years ago. Her team won Bronze.
Malavassi is a very experienced player.
